Which products are available for my Jeep model?

Product availability varies by model and year. Avenger, Compass, Renegade and Patriot owners can choose from rubber mats, carpet mats, boot liners and bumper protectors. Cherokee and Grand Cherokee models have the full range including roof bars in addition to floor protection. Use the vehicle selector at the top of any product page to see exactly what fits your Jeep's registration.

Do rubber car mats fit differently to carpet mats in Jeep models?

Both mat types are designed to the same floor pan template for your specific Jeep, but rubber mats have raised edges to contain water and mud, whilst carpet mats sit flatter with a textile finish. Some Jeep models have single-point mat fixings on the driver's side, others use two-point fixings - our mats are made separately for each system, so check the fitment notes before ordering to ensure you select the correct version.

Will a boot liner fit my Jeep if I have a parcel shelf or load cover?

Yes. Travall boot liners are designed to fit underneath your existing parcel shelf or load flood cover. The liner moulds to the boot floor and sides without interfering with standard cargo management features, so you keep full use of your Jeep's factory fittings.

Are Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L accessories interchangeable?

No. The Grand Cherokee L is longer with a third row of seats, which changes the boot dimensions and floor layout completely. Each model requires its own dedicated boot liner and mat set. Always enter your full registration to ensure you receive accessories designed for your specific variant.

Can I fit Travall roof bars to a Jeep Wrangler with a soft top?

Roof bar fitment depends on your Wrangler's factory roof rail configuration and year. Some soft-top Wranglers have fixed mounting points, whilst others don't. Enter your registration in the product selector - if roof bars are listed as compatible, they'll fit your exact setup. If nothing appears, your model doesn't have the necessary mounting points for our system.

Do Jeep Renegade mats fit the Jeep Avenger?

No. Although both are compact SUVs, the Avenger uses a completely different platform with different floor contours, transmission tunnel shapes and fixing point positions. Mats designed for one will not fit the other. Each model needs its own specific product.

Why do some Jeep Compass boot liners have manual transmission restrictions?

Certain Compass model years have different boot floor mouldings depending on whether they were built with manual or automatic transmissions. The transmission type affects underfloor storage recesses and panel contours. If a product states 'manual transmission only', it means the liner has been shaped for that specific floor layout and won't fit automatic variants correctly.

What's the difference between a bumper protector and a boot liner for my Jeep?

A boot liner covers the entire boot floor and sides to protect against dirt, wet dogs and cargo damage. A bumper protector is a separate piece that sits on top of the rear bumper lip to prevent scratches when loading heavy or sharp-edged items. Most Jeep owners use both together - the liner inside, the protector on the loading edge - but each is sold separately so you can choose what you need.

Do Travall guards fit Jeep models with removable or folding rear seats?

Yes, our guards are designed around each Jeep's specific seat configuration. For Wrangler models with removable rear seats, the guard attaches to permanent mounting points so it stays secure whether seats are in or out. Cherokee and Grand Cherokee guards work with split-folding rear seats, allowing you to fold one section down for cargo while keeping your dog contained on the other side.

Will a dog guard fit in a Jeep with a panoramic sunroof or Sky One-Touch roof?

Our guards are designed to fit Jeeps with factory-fitted sunroofs and panoramic glass roofs. The upper frame follows the roofline contour without interfering with sunroof operation or blocking the opening mechanism. We map each Jeep variant during design to account for different roof configurations.

How does the guard attach in a Wrangler with the Freedom Top panels removed?

Wrangler guards attach to the roll bar structure and rear seat mounts, not the roof panels. The guard remains fully secure whether you're driving with the hardtop, soft top, Freedom Top panels fitted, or completely open. The mounting points stay consistent across all top configurations.

Can I use a boot divider to separate two dogs in a Grand Cherokee L?

Yes, the TDG1640D divider attaches to the Grand Cherokee L dog guard to create two separate zones in the extended boot space. The divider slides along the guard's top rail, so you can position it to give each dog appropriate room based on their size. It only works with Travall guards - the mounting system won't fit other brands.

Does the guard block the rear view in a short-wheelbase Renegade or Compass?

No. Our mesh uses 12mm spacing that keeps dogs contained while maintaining rear visibility through the guard. Renegade and Compass guards sit tight to the rear seat backs and follow the window angles, so you retain a clear view through the rear screen and side windows for safe reversing and lane changes.

Will a Travall guard fit a Jeep with aftermarket roof bars or a roof tent?

Yes. Our guards mount to the vehicle's interior headrest posts and cargo anchors, completely independent of roof-mounted accessories. You can run Travall roof bars, aftermarket bars, roof boxes, or roof tents without any interference with the dog guard fitment or strength.

How do I know which guard fits my specific Jeep generation?

Enter your registration number on any product page and we'll show the correct guard for your vehicle's exact year and body style. Each Jeep model has changed dimensions and mounting points across generations - a 2014 Cherokee uses a different guard to a 2019 model, even though both are called Cherokee. Our system matches your registration to the precise guard design.

Are Travall guards tested for the kind of impact forces in an off-road rollover?

Our guards are tested to UN ECE R126, which simulates a 50 km/h frontal collision with a 32kg mass representing a large dog. While this standard doesn't specifically test rollover scenarios, the powder-coated steel tube construction and multiple mounting points provide rigidity in various impact directions. The guard won't prevent injury in a serious rollover, but it stops your dog entering the cabin during sudden braking or frontal impacts.
